I’m so glad it’s OVER!  But at the same time I’m excited about January 7th and forward.  It will be much easier next time as I will eat veggies while juicing.  Psychologically, alone eating something will make it so much better.  Drumroll please….NOW FOR THE GRAND TOTALS.  I lost 15 pounds and my friend “Diedra” lost 12 pounds.  Not bad for ten days with no exercise.  When doing the “50/50 Life Juice” starting January 7th we will be adding in some kind of body movement with the juicing.  2013 may finally prove to be the year that we lose weight and keep it off.  I have to say, doing this with a “juice buddy,” a partner doing the exact same program concurrently, made it easier, more enjoyable and actually more educational.  We were able to compare notes on a daily basis.  We noticed some of the exact same symptoms.  At least we knew we weren’t crazy!  In any case this has been an overwhelmingly successful experiment.  The success has me for one, excited about this next year.

Now that the 10-Day’s are finished it’s time to start baking those wonderful Christmas treats.  I’m breaking out the big guns to bake in this year!

Yesterday I was very hungry.  But even still, I wasn’t STARVING like on 99% of other diets.  I’m going to the grocery store today to get some Kale.  I’m thinking I wasn’t hungry when drinking Kale juice so keep your fingers crossed!  today is a beautiful day here in the mountains.  I would love to get out and take some pics but first I must go to the store and get some greens and fruits.

I’m completing my 7th full-day  of eating nothing and only juicing.  I can NOT believe it even possible.  In fact, this is the ONLY diet I’ve EVER been on where I wasn’t STARVING!  I HIGHLY recommend it!

If you open your double door refrigerator and this is what you see either Bugs Bunny has moved in OR you’re on a juice fast!

Until tomorrow…

I think I’ve found the fountain of youth!  I’ve been juicing vegetables with a few fruits.  I swear to you this must be what it feels like to do cocaine.  I drink the juice and I feel it spread throughout my entire body.  I hope it gives me a little relief from the pain of Fibromyalgia and perhaps a little energy to counteract the malaise associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Until tomorrow…

Well, since the question of the day is what is the outcome of Dolly’s CT Scan (I appreciate everyone asking), we got an all clear.  No additional cancer growth so it was very GOOD NEWS INDEED.  I on the other hand not feeling well.  Besides the brand new hernia just below my belly button something is really not right with me.  I’ll have to go to the doctor and see what’s going on.  Will let you know.

In the meantime I am now ready for the coming zombie apocalypse.  I have the required ammunition in storage and plenty of weapons.  I finally got my head removing knife and am practicing for the quick removal of said appendage.

You know your dog is spoiled when she times her afternoon nap around the sun shining upon her.  She has no idea what’s ahead with the zombie’s.  I hope she’s ready!

I’m not sure if yesterday was a blur to the whole planet or just me.  I had to take my Mom to the Oncologist so maybe that was it.  Anyway, her blood work is drawn and the CT scan scheduled for Wednesday.  Keeping our fingers crossed that the Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma is still in remission.  Other than that the day was a total blur.  I don’t know how I got there or back but we did it.  Fell asleep at six last night and just woke up now at 10:15 the next morning.  The moral to the story, when you combine stress, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue into one cocktail be very careful while operating heavy machinery or a toothbrush for that matter.

In the above pictures you will see a Carolina Chickadee, Northern Cardinal and a White Breasted Nuthatch.  In addition today I saw a Carolina Wren, Tufted “Black-crested” Titmouse, Tufted Titmouse, Pileated Woodpecker and a squirrel.  All of this from the “comfort” of my bed.  I truly enjoy nature.  Particularly appreciative of it when I am trapped in my bed because of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.

I’m unthankful for continued pain and the ongoing malaise. / I’m thankful for nature.

Until tomorrow…
